At each of the PC workstations in the library you can:

  • use the library catalogue and do database searches
  • save files on USB flash drive
  • use the complete software environment like in the BITS (University IT-Service-Centre), e.g. office applications and complete internet access (accessible with BITS user authentication by clicking the "person" icon in the taskbar)

Homely furnished reading nooks in all areas invite you to pause and browse.

In the the Departmental Library Information Sciences you will find the Journal Reading Corner with numerous local, national and international newspapers and the Reading Corner with the news magazines: art, Chip, Cicero, Emma, Focus, Geo, Natur & Kosmos, Öko-Test, Spiegel, Stern and Test.

You will get qualified reference and information retrieval assistance Mon – Fri 8 – 18 by librarians at the Service Desk in the Library Service Center, which is located in Area U0 right next to the Lernort.plus.
